Anatomy is the study of an organism's internal structure. Histology, the study of tissue organization and structure, is a component of plant anatomy. Anatomy reveals the structural adaptations of many plant species to a variety of environmental conditions.

A tissue made up of cells that may divide and create new ones is known as Meristematic tissue. Apical meristem refers to the meristem found at the terminals of roots and shoots.

Meristem that occurs between mature tissues, such as in grasses, is known as intercalary.

Apical and intercalary meristems, which arise early in the life cycle of a plant and assist to produce the major plant body, are both primary meristems. The lateral meristem is the meristem that occurs on the side of the plant and helps to increase the plant's girth. The major lateral meristem contains an intrafascicular cambium. Secondary meristems include the vascular cambium and the cork cambium. Those cells that have become specialized and incapable of dividing are known as permanent tissue.

When pressure is applied to any fluid region within a vessel, it spreads out uniformly and without any reduction in force. It's because of this rule that Hydraulic Power equipment operates.
